ReplyDeleteYour case seems like a mutual agreement, hence having a black and white is also to safeguard yourself. However, there are many more details that you need to take note of, especially traffic and parking offences. The ownership is still under you. Actually, in my opinion, I think this is not the best arrangement but if there is no other choice, then you need to really think carefully about the risks involved then make the final decision as well as do up the proper agreement on paper with the other party.
ReplyDeleteBtw, another thing to note. You should add this person as the Named Driver for the car insurance so that the own damage excess will be the same as the owner. If not, if he drives and hit someone, the own damage excess for unnamed driver will be doubled or even higher depends on which insurer.
